Red Series

RED examines the lasting effects of housing discrimination and redlining on American communities. Through photographs, postcards, and three-dimensional models, the series juxtaposes landscapes and architecture shaped by discriminatory housing policies with homes and neighborhoods largely insulated from their effects. These contrasts connect the visual legacy of redlining to contemporary housing inequality and the widening economic disparities within American cities.
